Michael Kmetz
He grew up in Summerville and is no stranger to community soccer or to SSC. He played his entire youth club soccer experience at SSC from U12 to U18 with the SSC Savage. Michael is a 1994 graduate of Summerville High School where he played for Anthony Pelton and Ron Brady. Michael played college soccer at Charleston Southern from 94-95 before transferring to the University of South Carolina where he graduated in 1998. He has been playing locally and coaching at SSC. He coached the SSC U15 boys to South Carolina President's Cup title in 2008 in which the team qualified to compete in the Region III Championships.
As director of select soccer, Kmetz is responsible for all levels of soccer for U13-U18 classic and challenge levels.
Kmetz lives in Summerville with his wife, Emily.
Michael has a USSF "C" License.
