Michael Kmetz
Michael grew up in Summerville and is no stranger to the community or SSC. He played his entire youth club soccer experience at SSC from U12 to U18. Michael is a 1994 graduate of Summerville High School where he played for Coach Anthony Pelton and Coach Ron Brady. Michael played college soccer at Charleston Southern from 94-95 before transferring to the University of South Carolina where he graduated in 1998. Michael plays locally in various adult leagues. He coached the SSC U15 boys to South Carolina President’s Cup title in 2008 in which the team qualified to compete in the Region III Championships.
As Director of Coaching, He is responsible for all levels of soccer for U13-U18 Select teams.
He lives in Summerville with his wife, Emily, and daugther, Milly.
Michael has a USSF "B" License.
