Born and raised in Summerville, married to the former Emily Cox of Summerville 
Played youth soccer at the Summerville Soccer Club for the SSC Savage U12-U18
Played for Bishop England and Summerville High School from 1991-1994
Played for Charleston Southern University for the 1994-1995 season before transferring to University of South Carolina
